KYLAYNE powers up the Rowley Mile to finish 2nd to new 1000 Guineas favourite Infallible, 3 lengths in front of the rest of the highly-touted field in the prestigious Group 3 classic fillies trial. Dismissed by press and tv as a no-hoper, she was allowed to go off at 66-1, with her supporters availing themselves of her generous SP for a place bet punt. Kylie had been laid out for this race all winter and Paul was confident of a good showing. We do get a little tired of the press and tv's preoccupation with the big yards and their tendancy to ignore any horse not from a 'fashionable' yard. Paul confounded them with INDIAN HAVEN, now with KYLAYNE and there will be others.
